The Low Carbon Enterprise Fund (LCEF) is an initiative of the ERM Foundation. It provides finance, technical and management support for small low carbon social enterprises in the developing world. To date, we have invested in eleven low carbon businesses in Africa, Latin America and Asia and have provided pro-bono technical and management support for many more.

The Fund is supported by generous donations from external sources as well as contributions from ERM partners. ERM, the global consultancy, covers the LCEF's management costs so all the monies we raise go direct to the low carbon businesses we work with.

The LCEF is a registered charity in the UK. In the US, application is pending for 501 (c) (3) status.

The LCEF is supported by the DOEN Foundation.
